Church Wharf Garage is a very welcoming place. They offer lots of help and do their best to answer all the questions you have. I highly recommend buying a car at this place. Really good mechanics. Was able to book me in over Christmas and replaced the head gasket amongst other things.

They even dealt with my warranty provider for me so other than dropping the car off, I had very little involvement.

My car is running smoothly now and I'll definitely be using them again for any future issues/work.

A year on, another MOT and service and all well. My wife picked me up and mentioned one of her headlight bulbs had gone, they quickly replaced it there and then, just for the cost of the bulb, better than Halfords. Highly recommended.

Recently I visited Bolton for an appointment, travelling from the Midlands. My car developed a problem with a rear wheel bearing. I reached out to Church Wharf Garage in the hope they could help at short notice. They fitted me in and sorted my problem out within a few hours which allowed me to get back on the road. The service they provided was first class and the price was very reasonable too.

Brilliant garage I would recommend them to anyone.
We have trusted the guys at Wharf to carry out the servicing and MOT of our cars for over 5 years now. Fast friendly service and they won't tout you for work that doesn't need doing. Last week shortly after having our Mercedes e-class serviced an engine warning light came on so we booked the car in to be checked. The guys at Wharf carried out a diagnostic which highlighted an issue with the Nox sensor, luckily they were aware of a recall issue on these sensors so they advised us to contact the main dealers, which we did and the sensor was replaced at no charge to us.
Other garages might not be as knowledgeable or be as scrupulous and try to get you to get the work done with them, but Wharf didn't want us pay any more than we had to, which we were really happy about as the faulty part would have cost between £300-400.
Cheers guys we will be using your services for many years to come.

After needing a new car quickly I went back to the same garage I had got the previous car from. The staff on both occasions have been extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding what they do. You walk in and are greeted with a smile. Having a budget in mind I was found an ideal car that runs very well, looks excellent and would highly recommend to anyone who is either looking to purchase a car or to have any work done on a car. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys at Church Wharf Garage. They are a family firm and really took pride in providing a personal service, with absolutely no pressure to buy at all. One of them even acted as our satnav (excellent!) when we got lost on the way! Really good customer service and very fair too - makes a nice change for a car dealers! The car we chose had a broken CD player. The chap we saw ran around for an hour, taking the car to an auto electrics shop to have the player repaired before we left. We also negotiated a very fair price, considering the car had some cosmetic bodywork damage that wasn't evident on the photos. My old car was taken (for scrap), saving me the hassle of disposing of it myself, and they even removed the CD player for me free of charge. They also MOT'd the car before we took it away - even though it did have an MOT on it until November. The car had also been serviced a few days prior to our buying it. Thus far, I'm really pleased with my purchase and I would recommend Church Wharf for their very obliging and fair service.

friendly staff, got all the stuff that needed doing on the car done,, told me upfront if their was something not working on the car i purchased in my case it was the radio wasnt working but they swiftly put the problem right. all in all great service, great staff plus they put the car through MOT when purchased. when i decide to purchase a new car i will definitely go back to see what vehicles they have to offer!!

The staff here are very friendly and seem to be very honest. Brought my zafira in this morning to the garage and spoke to Keith the owner of the garage who was great, polite and most of all honest. The lads had to repair a clutch fly wheel and dpf filter on the car within one day from 9am. Was told car may not be ready due to amount of work that had to be done to the zafira. But against all odds they got the car done and re-programmed for me. Big thank you from Craig and family to Keith and the lads at church wharf garage for all the work they did and for being so friendly and polite.

We have used Church Wharf Garage to look after our cars and van for years and would not hesitate to recommend them. The time finally came to change my car, I didn't look at any other car showrooms or dealerships, I simply went to Church Wharf and told them what I needed and my budget. excellent helpful garage putting customers first. we were looking for a reasonably priced car after our own car 17uys old failed its MOT on emissions .Visited loads of garages saw a lot of cars had 3 previous visits to Church Wharf garage and actually ended up buying a car there we couldn't use our old car so we were desperate to get back on the road again .
